I HATE THE GYM. Okayyy, I just don’t love it. I can mayyybe force myself to go to the gym once or twice a week. I used to think the only way I was going to make gains is if I went to the gym 6 days a week and lifted heavy weights and did cardio on repetitive machines. Yuck.
But yuck for ME. I just don’t love it. It’s a personal feeling. I’ve found that I love exercise that gets me outside, allows me to see new sights and breathe in fresh air.
So the way to “get fit” is to do the activities you love! Is it yoga, surfing, or workout classes? Or is it weights, the gym, and boxing? Or is it gardening and playing with your dog? The possibilities are endless.
If you are doing activities you love, you will become fit because you will put your heart into those activities. Plus you will be happier and more confident.
In the words of my Dad: do what you love. Happiness, success, and love will follow.
